Our fifth Annual Women in Global Health Research Conference was held over Zoom in the Spring of 2020. The virtual symposium highlighted research on women’s global health issues. The following topics were discussed during the symposium:

• Gender-based violence

• Sex differences in research

• Non-communicable diseases

• Global nutrition and health outcomes

• Global pandemics: HIV, TB, and malaria
