Global Infectious Diseases Across a Woman’s Lifespan – 2026 Course
At a glance...
We were thrilled to host our second annual Global Infectious Diseases Across a Woman’s Lifespan Course in May 2026 in New York City. The four-day intensive scientific course aimed to address knowledge gaps and to provide practical tools for research on global infectious diseases that impact women. The course included lectures on sex differences in the pathogenesis and treatment of global infectious diseases, host-pathogen immune responses across a woman’s lifespan, and emerging issues in women’s health and infectious diseases. The course also provided practical methodological workshops on best practices for conducting research in women across their lifespan and included networking opportunities with peers and senior experts.
During our May 2026 course, lecturers and attendees shared knowledge, exchanged ideas, and explored innovative ways forward. This gathering was made possible by the dedication and passion of every attendee, and we are deeply grateful for the energy and insight that each person brought to the conversations during the week.
